The hotel is located on the outskirts, offering beautiful sunsets but a bit far from the city life. The rooms were comfortable and immaculate, although there was some surface dust. The service was attentive and friendly, with some unique animal companions around. The dining was highlighted as the best part of the stay with stunning views. The facilities were well-kept in an ancient country house setting.
I felt like I was inside a charming farm cottage as the room was literally enormous and had an authentic feel. However, it was a bit dark with no desk or table to sit at, even though the service was exceptional.
The hotel offers cozy and big rooms decorated with noticeably fake 18th-century furniture, although the Wi-Fi only reaches the main dining room, creating a nice room atmosphere. The service is super nice and friendly, ideal for accessing the vineyards around Stellenbosch. The location, while pretty and well-maintained, is on the outskirts leaving the area, not as lush as depicted online. The dining experience is very delicious with a wide variety of selections, served in the impressive dining room or on the terrace with a stunning view but opens only at 8 am. The facilities are well-kept, ensuring a pleasant stay.
